LinkedIn Post Scheduling Tool

One of the latest features LinkedIn has added is the ability to schedule posts. This can be helpful if you don’t want to go as far as using a tool like Buffer or Hootsuite but do want to make sure your posts go out on time. Platforms like Facebook have had this scheduling feature in the platform for a while, and this is just one of the great developments LinkedIn has been making recently.

Three times you might want to use the scheduling feature:

1. You want to write a post now but know it isn’t a good time to share. If you finish a long day at a conference and want to write something while you are inspired but know that the best times to post on LinkedIn are in the morning or at least during the day, then you might want to schedule it to go out the morning after you create the content.

2. Speaking of events, if you are going to be traveling or on vacation, the scheduling tool can be a great way to make sure your social media keeps working for you even when you are OOO.

3. You want to schedule your posts in batches. If you want to post once a week but only want to work on it once a month, you can now do that within LinkedIn.

I would put together a guide on how the tool actually works, however, LinkedIn did a great job of that already - LinkedIn Scheduling Guide
